This package is suitable to both beginners and the experienced fly fisherman. Your guide, Ian, is a professional casting instructor and guide, he's the best companion a rod could hope for. Ian's knowledge of the water is second-to-none and he'll do everything within his power and fly box arsenal to put you on the fish!

Your session starts by meeting your guide at either the local train station or local pub. From here you'll be taken to our wonderful private 'members only' water just around the corner where you'll be outfitted with rods and reels and if needed you'll be given fly casting instruction.
If you're already able to fly cast the fishing begins here. The lakes have an abundance of fly life to imitate and the fishing here is excellent. You will be allowed to take a fish for the table should you wish and if you don't already know you'll be shown how to gut and fillet your catch.

The fishing comprises of both dry fly and wet fly fishing using 5-7wt rods and floating lines. Target species include brown and rainbow trout but there are some coarse species available too. The trout go up to 7/8lbs.
